Jordan and Halstead opened our Chester office in 2009 when Jordan Halstead acquired his own branch of Jordan’s Residential Lettings after many years of hard work in the industry. Beware of Gazumping
When the sale is agreed verbally but a higher offer comes along, and you are priced out at the last minute. To avoid this, try not to haggle too aggressively, as it might put the seller off, and make it easier for competitors to outbid you. Once a sale has been verbally agreed, make sure that the home is taken off the market straight away, and that ‘for sale’ signs and online listings are taken down.
